prince of persia stopped responding!!

the game POPWW, on my pc...it goes uptil the loading screen and then i get this msg-"the game stopped responding. please read readme.txt" how do i fix this?

Does ur sys config meet the min req. ?
plz say ur requirements.

Alsso try updating ur gphx driver and try shutting down the antivirus and play.

only the processor speed [ 800mhz is not upto the mark] everything else meets requirements. i've updated the drivers too

man... even HL2 worked fine on my system..this game is supposed to be lighter on the system right?
