Counter strike multiplayer

Two of my friends have got bsnl broadband and i have got aircel/idea 3g... When i start a game or dedicated server, they are able to easily connect to my game but when any of them host game, the two of us cannot connect to his game...
I know the ip shown on their game is LAN IP, so to check ip, they use speedtest.net or whatsmyip.com or similar website, but on connecting to that ip, still nothing happens...
Can anyone help us out....?

Get them to open a few ports I guess.

Port forward the port they want to use. You'll have to use the external ip, while your
friends connected with LAN will have to use the internal ip.

@ttf i know how to make server and installing cs...
@sygeek how to forward port...? I have 3g modem so haven't done it, as it dont require any such thing....

I used it but dont know why as soon as i restart my computer after installing ht, my comp just show BSOD...

Your friend needs to forward the ports as you are unable to join his game.
PortForward.com has good information on most router's port configuration and how to forward ports.
