Default MOST ANTICIPATED GAMES TO BE RELEASED BY FALL 2005 !!!!!

Source: TechTree ( The Details Modified A Bit)

/// The Pics here are quite small in size around 35 Kb each.. so didn't post the thumbnails ////

Can't hardly wait for sum of them.....

1)Myst V: End of Ages (Sep 20)

Legends never die. Or so we thought until we came across Myst 5: End of Ages. Myst V continues with the saga of restoring the lost empire of the D'ni - a civilization spanning over millennia. Inside a fully immersive 3D environment found in each Myst title, End of Ages projects amazing visual beauty and world element details. Carefully stream-lined and executed elements of adventure, puzzle-solving, storyline and gameplay are the strong points of this final chapter of an epic adventure series.

2)The Suffering: Ties That Bind (Sep 26)

Almost about to create a clan following with the runaway success, The Suffering had caused enough stir to grab attention of many action fanatics out there. Surreal Studios have now come out with the sequel - The Suffering: Ties That Bind - to the same. Built on the premises of kicking all horrific arses out there to devour mankind, Torque - the main character makes more than necessary use of moving metal. The distinguishing premise the game offers over other titles, is the facility to start the sequel from exactly where you left off in the first installment. To choose from three different endings, as per your decision, in the first game open up the sequel to altogether special beginnings. This surely sounds interesting given that the first serving was more than you expected.

3)Serious Sam II (Oct 10)

What do you get when you unleash kids to use amazing devloping tools - soft or hard? One hell of an entertainer. To get things right, appoint those who understand the basics of the thing. It seems the guys at Croteam didn't grow up and created something that would hamper everybody else's growth. "Seriously" speaking, better watch out for Serious Sam II, the sequel to the hit Serious Sam. Without deviating from the orignal game's concept of "shoot what moves", this installment brings along radically new graphics, newer game-play elements (that includes newer demons and candy bars too), oh and weapons for Sam's main course. This one allows Sam to even drive some Croteam-custom thingamajigs and multiple player cooperative mode to unveil "pain" on our dear friends.

4)Age of Empires III (Oct 18 )

From where Microsoft left off and the 'Generals' took over, another most awaited sequel to the one which started it all, Age of Empires, makes a come back to reclaim its rightful title to the kingdom. Age of Empires III features advanced battle physics, next generation visual detail and unsurpassed realism till date. Positioned as a Eurpean Power exploring, colonizing and conquering the world, campaigns span across three generations. The game includes plenty new concepts such as "Home City", new list of civilisations, units, technologies, and upgrades.

5)Half-Life 2: Aftermath (fall november)

Expansion packs, though they add nothing more towards the ever-essential story line, are always fun to go through anyways. Especially they're from from Valve. The last sequel to Half-Life gave enough competition to the existing titles out there, and the expansion pack seems to be all set to finish up the surviving ones. Though not abandoning the story-line [img]altogether, you (Gordon Freeman) and Alyx flee from the doomed City 17 and wreck mayhem on the never before seen creatures which were withheld from destroying the previous city. The best aid you'll ever have or need, Dog, makes his much missed appearance here. The next best thing to really watch from Valve's barns would be Half Life 2: Lost Coast.

6)F.E.A.R (Oct 18 )

One of the most anticipated games of this year featuring immense gameplay, monstrous graphics and promises to be the best horror game of the year.

7)Battlefield 2: Special Forces (Q4 2005)

Veteran FPS players just love to knock off dumb enemies hiding inside a building packed full of explosives to blow away a continent. Move over, says Battlefield 2: Special Forces. Given an option between Navy SEALs, British SAS, Russian Spetznas, MEC Special Forces, Rebel groups and insurgents, players can play as any of the six distinct Special Forces soldiers. Lock, stock and barricade with the ten new vehicles, to drive that is, in the game complimented by the facility to rise through the ranks, by providing enormous growth potential of the character marks up for superb gameplay. Physics engine features a great new feature, always lacked for in the FPS genre, the potential effect of projectile penetration through existing materials scattered in the game. This translates to enhanced player awareness levels of existing material composition and concealment tactics.

8)Quake 4 (Nov 14)

With the DOOM 3 engine at its core, the latest sequel to the ever popular Quake should be compelling enough to make you upgrade whatever hardware you're running right now. Fragging the hell out of the Strogg behind, alone or with your earth teammates, hovering on foot or dragging along in tanks, you realise towards the end that if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. In the game after getting captured finally, you as Matthew Kane, an elite member of Rhino Squad and Earth's valiant invasion force, are turned into a marine-turned-Strogg, who alters the outcome of the war.

9)Civilization IV (Nov)

For all you simulated strategy fans out there, rejoice as an all time classic gets ready to launch the next of kin. Civilisation IV, with updated graphics and AI as well, along with combat animations pave the way for immersive gamming. Civilization IV also features short cut scenes to signify completion of wonders and many other events occurring in the game. Unforgettably, the games streamlined features and newer personality, it definitely should be on a die hard strategy fan's wish list.

10)Prince Of Persia 3 (Nov 1)

Definitely one of the most anticipated adventure games of this year.. the price will return only to fight himself. The game promises insane graphics quality with an enormous amount of fight and action.

11)Need for Speed: Most Wanted (Nov)

What do you get when you mix an all time favorite with an all time successor favorite? Take a pack of Need for Speed Hot Pursuit and another of Need for Speed Underground and you've got the most rocking racing sim of the year. What better would it be, than racing around your own custom modified vehicle with the cops chasing in Diablos and oodles of moolah waiting for the winner. Avoid going down town by upgrading enough of your muscle cars, supercars, tuners, and sports cars. Get ready to be chased by more than six different police cars at once in a vast, dynamic world. This is definitely gonna be most wanted by the racing freaks.

12)War Leaders: Clash of Nations (TBA)

Strategic evolution of the species is the key to survival. With most FPS games now evolving towards true-to-life graphics and physics engines, strategy games aren't far behind. Clash of Nations offers amazing graphics through beautifully rendered terrains and realistic war action. You play a historical leader of a chosen nation through World War II to gain victory through economic, diplomatic and military discretion. decisive thinking - on and off the battlefield, negotiations with allies and caring about the ones opposing, are all part of the main gameplay.

13)Call Of Duty 2 (Oct 25)

Call of Duty 2 lets players experience four individual soldier stories as they overcome insurmountable odds in multiple campaigns. Players have the freedom to follow each of the four storylines through for the ultimate character-driven experience, or they can engage in the historic battles chronologically for quick hitting action. Along with the new missions, the game features an enhanced engine, advanced AI, and even more authenticity than before.

Excellent post Rockthegod, and very nicely presented as well. It made for a nice reading, especially with those screenies being just the right size so as to not disrupt the who;e format of the page and force side-ways scrolling.

Anyway, I didn't realise that AoE3 will be upon us so soon! I will be ready with my new gfx card when it hits us!

Matrix : The Path of NEO ,
The Continuation to the highly sucessful Trilogy game series is here.
This Game has Neo (the ONE) in lead unlike the "Enter the Matrix" and has almost all combos of neo as in the movie like dodge bullets, stop it, group fight techiques and all others including all weapon usage mastering.
