Shud I buy modded PS2 ?

Hi All

I am an occasional gamer ...job requires me to work on PC for 8-9 hrs..
During weekends ..I can play games for 1-2 hrs and relax..Is it wise for me to buy modded PS2 ? since my budget is 5-6K..how enjoyable are games on PS2 and 21 inch TV ? ( I played games on laptop like COD:MW2 but it got so heated that shuts down automatically after 1/2 an hr)

^inside a budget of 6k a PS2 will be a good purchase for occasional gaming..
& yes will have to buy a modded PS2 if u don't wanna spend on original games...

there are many...
PS2 has huge collection of titles in all genres..

so it will depend on your taste..which type of genre u like(RPG,sports,FPS etc)

well i don't know the games for PS2 (coz I have'nt played on PS2)

yes u have to buy a memory (designed for PS2) to save the games progress

bcoz of new gen PS3....& its greatness when compared with PS2..
but as per your budget & decision PS2 is the option else save money

Even now, PS2 is terrific for casual gaming. Just take into the account all those AAA exclusives and console exclusives of last generation. That will easily make it up to your 6k.

Imo Don't go for old thing . You can run ps2 game on you lappy if it has good proccy.

And if you don't have options then ok . There are many good game like

call of duty series
moh series

there are many more. Go to gamespot.

And you don't need to buy memory card(8 MB) . It comes inbuilt.
