After Crysis: Crytek Working on New FPS Franchise?

Crysis 2 didn't receive the accolades from gamers all round the world due to a substandard plot and flimsy game mechanics. But the game engine i.e cryengine 3 has lived upto its name and the guys at crytek know that it has far more capabilities.

Therefore they are developing a brand new ip in the fps genre. I think this time they are determined to deliver on all fronts.

LOL I read about it like 1 week ago. Quite honestly it wasn't a surprise for me and I have lost faith in Crytek so it doesn't bother me much. They have just joined the race for FPS game and nothing new. Before Crysis 2 they were known for innovation but after Crysis 2 I don't expect much from them. Maybe they will surprise but thats not possible with EA at all IMHO.

I wish they should focus on open world fps game this time, not another Crysis like game
