Default Is new always not better?

Hey friends, I would like to make you remember the battle ground game which was developed by EA in association with Zipper Interactive, Recoil. A game based on battlefield tanks and was released in 1998. Recently, I downloaded it from the internet and when I mounted the image on the virtual drive and AutoPlayed it, the setup started. After the InstallShield Wizard loaded 100%, a message pop ups saying the game needs Win 95/98. I have Windows 7. So I tried running it in compatibilty mode for Windows XP SP2. The problem still persists.

I think the game used to run quite fine on my Xp, when I played it.

I still remember Recoil, and its cheat codes.
Anyways try running it on Compatibility mode for Win 98/95 on Win 7.

And I suggest you to get a legit Version, buddy.

@TechPlex:
Try running the setup in Compatibility Mode for Windows 95 or Windows 98/ME.

If this does not solve the problem, then try the DOS emulators like DOSBox.
