Definately there are chances that it will be released through Steam. Steam is required to play Multiplayer campaigns. And believe me Satish, u can't avoid to play Half Life series. It's like uncontrollable !!

Its rumored to cost less then $20, ofcourse you need to have HL2 coz its an expansion and not a stand alone product. Also the rumor mill has it that its gonna be released via steam and retail both, so you can go to your nearest retailer and purchase a boxed copy of the game.
