why nfs hot pursuit (2010) is lag on window xp?

i have installed nfs hot pursuit (2010) on windows xp 32bit but game is lag on xp compared windows 7

my pc specification is Below:-
Dual Core 2.66ghz
2gb ddr2 ram
msi nvidia 9400gt 1gb ddr 2 ram

so plz tell me which os is better for nfs hot pursuit (2010)

call of duty black ops is lack on my pc i used windows 7

go to settings screen and reduce resolution to 800x600 or lesser. That should help

Oh boy you could have posted all of these questions in this thread. Its made for this purpose.

Your GPU is not made for gaming so you will not be able to play at decent fps with this GPU. Although you can run at low settings.
As for COD Black ops and NFS Hot Pursuit 2010. They are poorly optimized so even good PC are not able to handle them properly.

within 1280x1024 even at midhigh-high settings you should be fine atleast with Hot pursuit.

9400GT & game lag? this is common. OP must have set everything to high & even auto detect sometimes sets the graphics settings high & in the end game become slideshow type.

@gameranand: i don't think hot pursuit is poorly optimized as it ran pretty well on my rig, considering it has beautiful visuals.

Well its poorly optimized for processors. I mean many people faced lag and some graphical bugs in this game. You were lucky that you didn't faced any of em.

I think the problem is due to that old GPU. 9400GT is not at all meant for gaming. So, its time for you to change your GPU. Even Radeon 5450 at 2.3k will run these games smoothly. But IMO u should get Radeon 4650 at 3k.

9400gt, a 2.66ghz dual core, 2 GB RAM. I would say.. things will be pretty much same in any operating system. The game is built in a single threaded engine. So, Don't worry. It will be the same.
