Crysis Freezing when loading next stage

Hi guys
i always have heard that Crysis is buggy,
well it was just a word for me until now when i have come to face it up close

everytime (well most of the time) i complete a given stage or chapter and the game's supposed to load the next stage, it freezes
so i would load a previous save and play it again and again till i got the "Loading-Screen"

But now i am stuck at the stage "Relic" where i encounter four Nanosuit clad KPA
After killing them and entering the VTOL the Cinematic starts and then it freezes in the end without proceeding to load the next stage
I tried loading the previous saves and played it again and again (bout 8-9times) but no result

My Config is
AMD Athlon II X4 635 @2.9GHz@1.25v
Sapphire HD6850@1.03v@Catalyst 11.3
4GB Corsair DDR3 Ram
500GB Seagate
Corsair VX450

Have you tried installing the latest update ?

Try reducing the graphics settings for once to the minimum possible extent.You can do this by editing some cfg file.Google to find out more.

i downloaded the Crysis 1.2 patch from filefront (361mb)
but when i run the patch it says that

WTF?
it is the 1.2 patch

Currently the game version shows 1.1.1.161 or something

Oh sorry its Crysis not Crysis 2.Well then no need to edit any files,reduce the graphics from main menu itself.

at what settings are you playing?

i opted for the lowest available graphics at the menu, turned off AA
everything at low
and loaded a save game and played again
still the problem persists
the Game Freezes after Nomad and Psycho have their little chat inside the VTOL and the cinematic ends

i was playing at Graphics set to Very High@1600x900@2xAA
now i played at lowest Graphics@1600x900@no AA

Just cross that level on a low monitor resolution.

Try reinstalling. It happened to me too after chasing the alien that got hold of Jester and you had to jump down a cliff. It would get stuck w/e any cutscenes or anything, but the menu was working. I just reinstalled.

was the problem solved afterwards?

you mean that i should try loading the stage from scratch and play through at lowest?
or just from a save from mid game?

Are you using any no-CD cracks? Sometimes these sort of update problems arise from that.

Ermh... I played from the start since I was not too far with the story. You can reinstall and use someone else's savegame and continue the game.

I always download patches from developers sites only not from anywhere else.
I had similar problem as in your screenshot I downloaded the patch again from dev site and reinstalled the game and problem was solved for me.

@funkysourav:The save games are put in Documents->My games->Crysis folder.Just make a backup before you uninstalling the game or i think that there is an option to decide whether or not to keep save games in the uninstaller.

Ok will try uninstalling and re-installing with 1.2patch
i am keeping the saves in case i need them again

anyway if all fails
guys do you know where i can get saves stagewise?
i need the save for the stage after "Relic"

Don't worry if you are keeping the saves then you won't have any problems regarding saves and if that fails then ask for it in Save games thread and someone might help or you can always search net for the saves.
