Do u guys think COD: Black Ops should be made a movie?

I think they should make it a movie because it is a great game!

here are some of the reasons for why movie-->games==X and vice-versa

hitman=phail
prince of persia=phail
max payne=phail *crying*
tron=phail

however i wonder how will games like doom3, HL series, singularity, stalker,......will do if converted into movies

doom movie has already been done mate. lead actor was dwayne the rock johnson...it was fail...

Okay... here is my list..

Chonicles of Riddick = Wonderful movie. Out of the wold game.

Jason Bourne = Fantastic movie. Awesome game.

James Bond = Awesome games. good movies.

Ghost Busters = Insanely funny movie and a game.

X-men = Good movie, good games.

The Godfather = You know about the movie. But very few people actually played GodFather: The game, which is a very good game. They messed up Godfather 2, nonetheless.

Dead Or Alive = A decent movie. And is one of the most played fighting game on Xbox 360.

I can go on... with games like Indiana jones, Tomb Raider, Transformers, Starwars,etc. Which weren't that successful.. but are still good games.

Nevertheless, failure rates are high than success rates.

What I'm trying to tell is, there is nothing wrong with movies being made games or games being made as movies. They just have to be in right hands. Tekken is the recent example. It was such a good fighting game.. but ended as a disastrous movie... when a journalist asked tekken dev team at Namco.. they replied " They(movie team) just couldn't allow our hands in the movie." Not only tekken, most of the projects are failing because of this. Lack of proper interaction between the two teams.

I don't know if Black Ops works out as a movie. But, in correct hands, movies like.. Hitman, Prince of Persia, MaxPayne would have been a very successful movies.

Hey i thought POP Sands of time was a well made movie. May not be at the same level as the game, but it was pretty decent . And i also love the Resident Evil series .
COD Black Ops Movie... i would rather say Modern Warfare movie... or both be turned into mini series. There's just too much content to be shown in a 100min movie.
