pls suggest me good shooting game.

hi there !

i am not really much into gaming, but all u "been there, played that" guys out there; can u suggest me a good shooter game. it cud be a war game or a space game. the person (spaceship) shud be carrying a shooter in his hand and goes around shooting.

basically the view/camera shud be BEHIND (not above) the person/spaceship.

my specs are basic. winxp/sp2. p4, 2.0 ghz, 256mb ram.
NO graphics card. and i dont plan to upgrade.

i just want a game, where onec in a while i can 'shoot' down a couple of guys or spaceships !

Quake 3 arena
Counter strike: condition zero
Unreal tournament 2003

Great shooter:
Call of duty
Medal of honour (allied assault)
(I don't know if farcry and hl2 runs in ur config)

Ya,u may go for Quake III- very quick game,not everybody likes it. Call of Duty is also a good one.
U may also go for Max Payne 2: impressive one.

you didn't tell us what video card do you hv??
for eg, intel 915 gav along with your configs is good enough for half life 2

you can also go for :-

call of duty
max payne 2
brother in arms etc

Yep, for no grafx card MaxPayne2 will run beautifully.

without a graphics card I would suggest Serious Sam and Serious Sam: The Second Encounter. Amazing shooters and well worth the time. And add to that gorgeous graphics, huge no of weapons and loads and loads of enemies in huge open spaces u will have fun !

Quake 3 and cs cz will be the best for u

somebody mentioned max payne 2 i dont think it`ll work also there are many more games

like Halflife series -- Opposing force etc etc

Believe me, I tried. But the stupid text box won't accept more characters. (Haven't heard of the great attractors system, tho)
