Tomb Raider Trilogy for PS3

Karl Stewart, Global Brand Director for Crystal Dynamics confirmed in a tweet that the pack is official:

"Yes, it’s official. #TombRaider PS3 ‘Trilogy’ pack coming in the new year. Full details next week. Watch this space"

The bluray pack will contain remastered Tomb Raider Legend, Anniversary. And standard Tomb Raider Underworld.

Another franchise joins the re-mastering bandwagon, eh? Well, it's not bad to have the good 'ol PS2 classics showing up on the PS3, but I would be more happy if they re-mastered the exclusive PS2 titles for the PS3. The multi-platform titles look much better on the PC, not to mention, would cost even less. I recently completed Tomb Raider Anniversary on the PC and boy did it still look awesome or what?

There is nothing like running the game on native 1080p resolution with every detail maxed out. I suppose the PS3 re-master would just be a direct up-scaled port. Good for people who don't game on PC and have a PS3.
