One of the members here had a very bad experience running a game center. But he ran console gaming center... Most of the other console gaming places too has this bad experience. What kind of game center are you looking to start? PC gaming or arcade style gaming?

You can get xbox instead of playstation. Pool tables are cheaper than snooker table. Pool is better business with minimum 60 bucks per hour.

Yea.. Go for PS3.It will perform a lot better than x360. Both in games and motion control. And another thing is.. don't restrict yourself for a particular console.. get a x360 too. It will help in diversity and will allow your customers to play x360 exclusives(which aren't many, by the way).

I would suggest you to partner with some Cafeteria/lounge or something instead of opening a game center alone as it would help you to get more business and no one would really prefer to go in a game center to just play games on ps3/xbox 360 unless and until they have less experience in gaming coz nowadays almost everyone has a pc and ppl prefer pc games. All the best though.
