ps2 god of war 2 Catacombs of the Fallen loading problem

today i have a problem in GOW2. when kratos come to the Destiny's Atrium using the stairway and at the right a hall way spewing fireballs. after revealing a passage and kratos enters it. here a LOADING screen appears and the game freezes. the loading the screen continuously animates... i have waited 5-10 min to load but nothing happens... what to do??? is it a glitch or something else? pls help me.

That happens ONLY if you are playing with a backup disc. Some discs freeze at a certain moment. So, if you have any other backup discs.. play with that. until you pass this area

And, if you don't have a original copy of the game... then, the backup copy of your's will become illegit. In which case, we are restrained from helping you.

its an official disc... but no problem. i contact the shop where i buy that and they gave me original disc replacing that.... my ps2 is original and my game discs too... thnx for the reply.
