Battlefield bad company II Audio problem

I searched the net for this problem...and i could not find a solution...the problem is i could not hear the "in game dialogues".....i can hear everything else...the game sound...the game music....but when it comes to dialogues...i can see only the subtitles....

I have updated my audio drivers and video. not able to figure out ..plz help

People have had problems like yours and supposedly the way to fix it is go to the settings.ini file in the BC2 folder in your documents and change speakercount=0 to speakercount=2.

I did the same way: Gone to MyDocuments/BFBC2/settings.ini - change the speaker count to 2(there was no line called speakercount for me...i had to include this line)

But no effect + i have updated my sound drivers but no effect ..plz help

no not yet.. is updating the game to laest version will solve this problem .. ??
