Default Need help in running 32-bit games in 64-bit OS

I am currently using Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and the problem is that when i run games like GTA - San Andreas, Psychonauts etc, the games run in the background but they don't start up and when I see the Task Manager for ongoing processes , there it shows that the game is running with the help of a file called rundll32.exe...
I wait for the games to start but they don't and I have to manually end those processes in the Task Manager....
Does this have anything to do with the different 32-bit games and the 64-bit OS...???
If yes then can anyone tell me how to run them in my rig ...???

you can run 32 bit games on 64bit os. try tweaking the game config (graphics settings),
i think there will be separate exe file for config that u can run.

1)try changing screen resolution like 800x600.

2)install game patch if anything available.

3)do a graphics 3d test.. type dxdiag in start->run,check if any errors are there..

4)and lastly do a thorough virus scan.

yesterday only i installed Crysis warhead game on win 7 x64 ultimate. and its working great. , wow what a game!.
