Connection to Games for Window - LIVE has been lost???

Hello frnds,
I have original GTA IV ! and patched with latest GTA PATCH 1.0.5.0 ! When I want to play multiplayer..getting this error

"Connection to Games for Window - LIVE has been lost.Returning to single player "

help me.....

i think your GFWL has gotten old. Update it and then try.

I'm using Latest GFWL...+ GTA PATCH 1.0.5.0

Then go to windows update>view available updates to download >check the GFWL QFL update>download and install it>restart pc>try again. This worked for me.
