Default Win2K Does not support Games?

My friend has installed windows 2000 Professional now he cannot run the following games:

1) Mortal Kombat 4
2) MotoRacer

it does not run on XP either but when he installs windows 98 it runs very well, is there anyway to make those games run on win2k and XP?

Thanx in advance

In Windows XP, there is something called 'Compatibility Settings'. You can run the program such that it is compatible with older operating systems. Try this out.

Right click the .exe file and go to properties. Then, go to the compatibility tab and choose the OS there. I dont know if this option is there in Win 2000.

Sorry to tell you, but the combatibilty settings aren't present on W2k. So I don't think you will be able to play those games . But I remember playing MK4 on W2k  .
