nfs: UG-2 : help in drag race!!

just started playing nfs - ug2....nd i won the races rachel gave me...all but one ::: drag..

I cant figure out how do win this one...if i increase the speed...my engine blows...if i dont, then i am left behind nd ultimately every1 else completes d race, while m stuck!!!!

I am running a mazda nd i cudn't buy the n2o(nitrous oxide) pack as i spent most of my bank b4 cuming to it..

now my bank is 425 nd i have only 1 race (i.e. drag) to complete....

can anyone help me out??? pllz tell how to increase bank...now the bank bonuses have also decreased in no.) nd how to win drag tace...so i can continue the game...

In drag races, you have to manually shift the gears. To do that use 'A' or 'Z'. When the needle gets in the green zone change the gear to get a perfect shift & to reduce engine burnout. Avoid changing gears in red zone.

didn't work!!
nothing happens when i press "A" or "Z"....
i checked the options to know the controls for gear change (in case its not A or Z by default)...but it seems there's no such option to change gears....

so m stuck!!

ITS NOT A OR Z.. Default is "left shift" for gear up and "left ctrl" for gear down.

me too have no idea how to drag, so I stopped playing the game. I'll start again if i come to know.

drag is one of the easiest race in U2...just remember to have the perfect shift-preferably green zone..thats it.

I finished NFS: Pro street and drag races helped me the most to dominate the track.
Use nitro accroding to ur cars power in gear 2nd or 3rd for the best possible socres.

hardest thing to do is a continous drift in some nutorious tracks in nfs pro street.
I know most of us thinks that Pro Street is not a good game to play.

Drag's the Easiest after errr.....whats that called?
The one in which we press enter when we behind another car?
I would just sort of hit that car around the corner and take the 1000m lead in abt 10 seconds.
My fastest time was 9s at the Highway, Ran into that car in full speed pressed enter, nitro and won.
