the 5300 is a gfx card for the pci-ex slot. like a 5200 for the pci-ex.

Compatibility and Acceptable performance are two different things. My on board Intel Extreme Graphice is compatible with HL2, but theres a reason i stuck a FX5700 Ultra in there. And the reason was to get double digit fps at 1280 X 1024.
