Bioshock Bug!

My system is a Dell Inspiron 530 with the following config:

Intel C2Q Q6600 @ 2.4Ghz
2 GB DDR2 667Mhz RAM
nVidia GeForce 8600GT graphic card with latest drivers
250GB SATA 2 hard disk
Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP3 32-bit.

I was playing Bioshock. At the end of Smuggler's hideout, we have to enter a Bulkhead room to enter into Arcadia. When I enter into the Bulkhead room and close the door, the door closes and everything is fine but nothing happens afterwards. I can control the character and everything is normal, only the Bulkhead doesn't move up or down. As I couldn't enter Arcadia, serached the net for a save game file just at the begining of Arcadia. I found one and the game goes fine, only the Goal dialog box is in German! The subtitles and others are in English. The Goal dialog, the Hints pane and the map are in German. How to rectify this problem? If it cannot be where can I find a proper save game file? If that is not possible, atleast how can I correct the Bulkhead Bug? Please Help...

A update official patch available on bioshock official site. Reinstall game and apply patch.

hey dude i am at the same level(Arcadia)
but i played tht level 4 almost 15mins
if u still want the save game then i will upload it
