GTA4 profile download problem.HELP!!!!

guys help me please..i bought gta4 yesterday, didnt start the single player though, but whenever i try to login into live, even after entering a valid id, it doesnt work, it says cannot download profile...what the hell should i do??

Make sure you have .Net framework 3.5 SP1 installed on your system. This should allow you to update your GFW profile & it's necessary updates for the game as well.

no use...i installed the .Net framework sp1....but still i get the problem...heres the screenshot

Mak sure you have GFW Update 1.1 installed.
Start the game and create a offline account.

but i need an online account..to play multiplayer, not the single player...

Did you register your GFW live a/c under the correct region?
Do you have multiple network adapters installed? Xfire or Hamachi installed?

Make sure under your Regional Setting the language option is English (US).

Also try this:

Open up the command prompt, and type in:

netsh winsock reset

Then reboot the PC.

Again go to the command prompt and type in:

netsh int ip reset

Then reboot again, and try connecting.
