Is it my pc or something else?

hello everyone.

I got recently pc upgraded to my sig.
Here's the problem

I got GTA 4, ran it got 25-35 FPS. Is it normal with this setup, sometimes it get 35-40 FPS too so whats wrong?

I tried GFX driver update, game update.

Plz help

Dude i think u forget to check the BENCHMARK of GTA-4!!!!

Even with 280GTX ,, the FPS is 45 only

HD 4870 gives u 40FPS only



Core2Quad Q9550 3.5Ghz + XFX 280GTX + 8GB RAM 1066 @ 1280 X 1024 high & highest

only 50FPS is maximum , my friend is getting

Ya its normal. Surprisingly, the game runs butter smooth at 24-27FPS too!

to play GTA lV at max i would suggest a quad core atleast...The core i7 series seems to be easily handling the game though.

Corei7 is really gr8 in playing games

For good performance download 180.4 gfx driver and latest patch. I got a lil'bit gfx boost after that.

there was some problem with my cpu cooler, it cooled it alot.

now I removed it with stock cooler, everything is back to normal.

good old 25-35 outdoor and 60-80 indoor with some tweaks and tricks.
