Comman & conquer : kane's wrath mouse problem

I am unable to see the mouse pointer when the game loads - not in the game menu and nether in the actual game.
I tried various settings for the mouse in 'Pointer options', but nothing worked.
Specs: AMD athlon X2 dual core 3800+,1gb RAM,nvidia GeForce 6150SE nForce 430

Pls help.

You downloaded a RELOADED rip. Reported for warez. Get a better crack, and follow the specified instructions properly.

Could it happen bcoz, I have not installed C&C3:Tiberium wars which is req for playing this game ? I got past this by making changes in the registry.
