Wen are 64 bit processors coming from Intel??

Hey guys....
Am thinkin of upgrading to 64 bit computing but don know which one will be of better worth....AMD or INTEL, oh btw,wen is 64 bit processors coming from Intel?? Have never used AMD before.....so, not quite sure how its gonna be.....and if its AMD, wat r the best matches for it, i mean m/b, ram n all....wanna go for DDR2 1 gb ram and a m/b with agp 8x slot and inbuilt sound supoport for 4:1 speakers..... Also, wanna know which m/bs will supprt ultra scsi hdds... and is the seagate 160 GB available in market, sata or ata??? can u guys help???

They are already there in the market. Intel launched then about a month back.
Anyway AMD 64 bit cpu are better in performance.
Support for scsi ultra 320 can only be found in server mobo else you have to go for an addon card.
I would recommend take a mobo having sata 2 support and use a sata 2 disk and get a throughput of 300Mbps.
