2 RAM brands on the same mobo?

I have an 865GBF mobo. I already have a Hynix 256 MB RAM(latency 2ms) stick on one slot. I am thinking of buying one more stick of 256MB and want to buy Transcend.Will there be any compatibility issues if i put 2 different brands? If you have a better solution please do advise
