The market seems to present a confused picture. I am buying a new comp, and I want to know whether to wait for the 916 or go with the 865chipset as my assembler friend says. |

they are available, the 915GAG is the saller of the future, however from your existing 865G chipset, the 915 is not recomended, U can still go up to a max of 3.4 GHz with that Chipset & Motherboard, so stick to it for the next 1.5 years, upgrade only when Longhorn comes

gx hes buying a new comp and i dun think he has an existing 865

@ better go for a AGP based mobo since i see no chances of prices of PCI-E cards dropping so quickly ! Plus Inquirer posted a little article stating how the Intel 915 isnt ready for PCI-E cards !
