    FX 4100 = crap , the cheapest AM3+ processor. Only good ones are FX8150 and FX8120.

    You can buy a AM3 Processor with an AM3+ Motherboard .
    AM3+ processors are crap .

    Guys...Please answer OP's question first before other advices.

    @ OP - Cheapest is FX4100 and all AM3+ Processors are AMD Only.

    But there are better Options available like 960T which fit in AM3+ Socket, Cost near about same and perform better.
