Default upgrade from intel celeron

The intel celeron 1.2 ghz system I had crashed due to a motherboard problem. I want now to upgrade to either intel p4 or AMD athlon.

Can someone who has experience in dealing with both intel and AMD systems to suggest which processor and matching motherboard I should go in for? I am using the computer only for home office use.

U have specified that u will use the system for office use.
And haven't specified the budget!

PROCESSORS:

1)AMD Sempron 2200+ 32-bit Rs 2300
2)AMD Sempron 2400+ 32-bit Rs 2800
3)AMD Sempron 2600+ 32-bit Rs 3800

MOTHERBOARDS:

1)ASUS A7V400-MX SE Rs 2500
2)ASUS A7N8X-VM Rs 4750
3)Gigabyte GA7VM400-M Rs 2100

I would suggest AMD Sempron 2400+ and ASUS A7V400-MX SE (Rs 5300)

..And also if u dont have DDR-RAM get Two sticks of Hynix 256MB 400Mhz DDR RAM for Rs 2500(Two sticks to implement dual channel)(Ram Prices are really low today)

If u have more budget u can get latest AMD 64-bit Processors.
