Default Hack to Learn Or Learn to Hack?

This is not only abt computers ,but in general about the way knowledge and skills we acquire in life.

Quote:
Don't Learn to Hack,Hack to Learn.
-A general quote i've seen somewhere

Here Learn doesn't mean only hacking but any Knowledge in general. This Quote clearly tells the difference between Theory and Practice.

I can explain u this way.....the tech way..i've seen noobs how they learn ...they read book and learn how to operate a software.....on other hand geeks hate to read the mauals.....they just come to know everything jus by playing with softs for some time.......

i hope u got by point..i don know how to xpress that way of learning...hav u xperienced this anytime...actually this is something a difference between knowledge and information...

i think iam writing something unclear above......pls if u got the point abt what im talking abt.............pls reply ..i donno how to xpress what iam thinking in my mind abt that suff.....sry for my poor english

Yes I understand what you want to say.

I too learn by practice. I hate to see people asking me, to which coaching centre I went to "learn" computers!? I learnt it all by pure practice, God has given brains to use, if one doesn't use it, better to throw it away.

My dad gifted me a computer 5 years ago. Back then my computer knowledge was negligible. But after a few weeks, I knew every nook and corner of Windows XP. Then I used a book to start with HTML, but later threw it away, and learnt by exploring and refering w3 from time to time.

When I was in 8th std, computer teachers used to clear doubts from me. Don't think I'm showing off, but I'm just pointing out that this is a better way to learn things. Now, I'm in 12th std, and I almost never open my computer textbook, still I get full marks in the subject, always.

Similarly, I find it quiet weird, when people learn the grammar of a language with so much difficulty. Ofcourse it is required if one wants to study the language in detail, but for normal uses, it's better learnt naturally. I still don't remember some grammatical terms properly, but my English is better than those who memorised all the grammar rules.

And for your English... its perfect.

@AMIPOAL

tHANKS...Thats the thing i wanted to say.....

i have seen ppl so many n00bs....ppl those who even don no to follow how to registre in a site.....Pressing 'C'+'T'+'R'+'L'+'F'+'9' instead of Ctrl+F9.........ppl who rn't curious in learning computer sufss....its a pure understanding and practise that makes knowledge stable..........i can assure u this....i topped c language in ma class without even studying in the first year that much....

leave the only things abt computers......most ppl in general don't think out of box or encourage their curiosity.......may be there are lot of reasons...but the only thing i say is

Experience is Knowledge

If you want to protect your computer from hackers then first of all you will need to learn to hack so that you can make required protection to safe guard your computer. Buy the CHIP October issue there a list of hacks are mentioned with all the required security measures, and also to hack your own pc.
