Suggest me a DELL Laptop

Hello Digitians !

I'm planning to buy a new DELL Laptop. I'll be getting it from US. I really dont know what all One should look for in a good performance laptop. So kindly suggest me d same and it shouldnt cost me more than 35 +/-5k INR..
I'll be running Vista & Linux , not much into gaming. Performance is the main criteria for me. Looks should be nice.
Minimum requirements:
RAM 2GB
HDD 250 GB.
128MB Video Memory
Good Battery Life.
Lots of features
Camera not necessary.

My bro would be buying it from a DELL Store. So, any kind of customization possible ??
