AMD had setup a LAN competition in our college as part of our tech fest. The game was CoD4 and it was shear pleasure playing it on these lag free computers. 10 comps, free for all. Check out some images of the computers they brought:
I got to speak to the Country manager of AMD and the Senior Sales manager too. Awesome stuff. It was more of a promotional event for AMD+ATI.
The first prize was a ATI 3850 & the second was 2x3450. No kidding!

cool...but I Hope these LAN Gaming Competitions are held in our school. (I'm just in 9th).
I m n eXpert in CoD4 now ,if anyone wants to have a match with me just get cod4 patch 1.6,patch 1.7 ,HAMACHI (latest version) and lets fight!! ( I choose hamachi coz it will be easy to communicate about server uptime status etc)
Now having 26+Digit members playing COD4...
Organizers not allowed to participate. But, will be going to other colleges where this setup goes.
