A site stole my content!!!

I've only recently started blogging but I didn't realize that my blog has become so popular that other sites have started stealing entire posts from it!!
Check out this page:

Notice how the pictures and text are overlapping without any sort of alignment. That's because this entry has been lifted from my Wordpress blog!! I mean, what the hell!!

The stolen entry has a date of 17th Aug while mine is dated 18th Aug, because of the time-zone difference. But you can see the [caption][/caption] tags around the pictures which clearly suggest that it was posted in Wordpress.
What a jerk.

Lifting content is a serious issue and must be dealt with. Good thing that site has removed the content.

Looks like the e-mail I sent the webmaster worked!! Thanks to T159 for the whois info! Here's the mail:

Your site www.avram-grant.com has been found to have plagiarised a
blog entry from my blog, published on the 18th of August 2008. Due to
the time difference, the entry on your site states the publish-date as
17th of August 2008. However, a look through the content clearly shows
that it has been copied from a Wordpress blog as the
[caption][/caption] tags are visible and there is no formatting. The
entry also pingbacks to an earlier post on my blog.

A similar practice is to lift an interesting or useful post in a newsgroup (sometimes a whole thread) and paste it on a website or forum. Some years ago, I googled for my name out of idle curiosity and found my name on quite a few websites. They had copied some of my posts (or a thread) in newsgroups and put them up on their website as if the discussion had taken place there.

And why are you intent on comparing plagiarism with piracy? I'm not losing any money coz of someone stealing my work. It's just that if someone copies/steals something I wrote, I expect due credit to be given. The site in question gave none, it was a blatant rip-off.
