Which Credit Card for online shopping ??

The eligibility for HDFC Sliver Card is Age of 21. And salary of 2 Lac +
But i am 20 and i don't earn that much.

Which credit card should i go for, So That Online Purchases Won't Be a Problem
And a card that Works Well With PayPal.

Of course there should be no salary requirements. And 18+ Age limit is ok.

Get HDFC Card itself.But Why cant you take on your dad's name?

Any Citibank VISA card should work, I have been using since 2000, no problems. This MTV and XYZ affiliations are just for discounts or offers you might get from channel partners when you use that card, else it makes no difference. I have a Citibank Classic (no thrid party affliliations) and a Citibank Cricket card (just took it because it was free, hardly use it).

my father has no faith in internet banking and credit card use on the internet.
he is too skeptical. also he does not know about paypal and stuff.

I use Citibank Goldcard for all transactions online,
it completely safe if you know the site is trust worthy.
( like you know the site well, e.g. i use indiaplaza, ndtv, rediff, flipkart, ebay.in, futurbazzar etc.)
as in just dont use the card at any pathetic site.. thats it.

also when I make the payment the citibank i-pin enter page comes up .. so its extra secure.
.. as for my experience citibank has been a better in customer support than my icici card.

.......except for minior changes whch different banks offer with their credit cards, almost all transactions online is done through VISA/Mastercard payment gateway. VISA in itself is not a credit lending company but it operates the world largest electronic payment network. So as I said except few offeres which indivisual banks offer with their CC (like for eg 10% discount with ICICI card on purchase in Globus or something or movie tickes on a purchase of over 500 with citibank CC ..etc) as long as the card has visa/mastercard gateway there is not much of a difference......

BTW AFA offeres on the CC is concerned nothing betters ICICI........

+1 citbank, even your citi bank debit card will work for online transactions in most case.
Unlike most of the cards. I got Silver Card, and citibank guys are coercing me to increase the balance limit. but I say no.

Besides this remember most of the card working process. When they charge and how they charge.
