Need help buying an electronic product from outside India??

Just wanted to confirm if thre is any associated risk in buying any electronics from a wender outside India.

The seller would be shipping it via DHL or any other courier company so is there any problem regarding shipping electronics, octroi or any customs ect???

Or is it safe enough to buy it and ask for shipping??

Any associated risks in that leaving the scamming and warentee issues??

The Electronic Items i ordered once from US was a Motherboard and once a battery of a old Cellphone. Shipping was from USPS, delivered by Local Postman in good condition.

Had asked the seller to write "GIFT" on the package

Oh! Then its better to ask the seller to use a gift packing and label it as gift.
