Re: anybody saw "Dasavatharam" -south Indians?
Checkout the review in Sify
http://sify.com/movies/tamil/review....tid=5&cid=2429
It once again proves the old theory that, without a proper story and script, no film, however big the actors are, can succeed.

Re: anybody saw "Dasavatharam" -south Indians?
Kamal cuts down 9 people from playing side roles, and gets 9 times the normal salary. The songs arent good enough for a Kamal movie, and Dasavatharam is just watchable once, I believe. I havent seen it yet but its been pre-booked for 15 days, thats what some daily said.
edit: never mind, just checked Sathyam Cinemas' website...Lots of seats free from monday.

If the mods start to take notice of behaviour, probably it'll help us a bit.

Re: anybody saw "Dasavatharam" -south Indians?
saw a review here:
Quote:
New Delhi: The much anticipated Kamal Haasan film Dasavathaaram releases in Tamil and Telugu on Friday. Director KS Ravikumar and Haasan team up for the fourth time with this magnum opus made with a budget of about Rs 165 crore.
“We came up with the idea of doing a full-fledged entertainer this time,” Haasan told CNN-IBN but added that the making of the movie was plagued with controversies and problems.
“We faced a lot of problems. Things were not ready on time. We called off the first day’s shooting and second day was slow. But in the end we are all set for the release,” Haasan said.
Special effects specialist from Hollywood Brian Jennings also said that the making of the mammoth film was no mean task. “The first time I met Kamal I told him ‘what are you doing? Are you crazy?’ But I felt sorry for them and thought as a human being I should help.”
However, Ravikumar believes that their hard work has finally paid off. “Kamalji told me that there's no gain without pain. He spent hours and hours to get his makeup right for his different looks. Shooting this film was a tough experience.”

Re: anybody saw "Dasavatharam" -south Indians?
Bangalore mirrors ratings are not at all good. They give 3 star for even a flop kinda movie!
Times rating is quite acceptable.

So, when you like making friends, you go and start using profanities? There's a much better approach
