digit forum url bug...

Hey mods/admins this is just to bring to ur notice that if one types WWW.THINKDIGIT.COM/FORUM(i.e. in caps) its says 404 site not found.

I checked it. It indeed seems to be a Bug or is there any other reason for the same ?

THINKDIGIT.COM is same as thinkdigit.com. Capitalization in domain names does not matter.

The forum is installed in the /forum directory(aka folder). Directory names/folder names are case sensitive, i.e, forum is not same as FORUM.

By typing in it capitals, you are actually trying to access a folder FORUM which does not exist. So its obvious that you are getting the error. It not a bug, but a normal response.

well it wud be better if we could acess it even if type "forum" in caps....

Yeah, a redirection. Just look at our fight club section, some people just login to participate in that. So when they have to shout in that, let them be ready with caps on
