While we do have 24 hour news channels and a whole host of them, the problem is that we do not have a number of newsworthy events! India is a relatively calm country when it comes to filling slots. This is despite the happenings in Kashmir and other terrorist hit areas.
The have to show something it may be cat calling or monkey business!

wtf !! why do we have these kinds of news channels around ?? and how was this crappy channel voted the best hindi new channel ?? 
PS:- cant we have a sticky in which all the great news items carried by these great news channels can be posted ?? its really disappointing to see the forum with a whole lot of stupid threads about various insane news items broadcast by these channels !!
