Question Planning to buy a Camera & AC

Hello Friends,

I am posting after a very long time. Actually it's appraisal time in the company and I am planning to buy a Camera & an AC

For the Camera my budget is 10K, I need a good simple camera not necessarily a high end professional camera but which I could use on most occasions like outing, picnic, parties etc. I would love to buy a camera with bill which would have warranty.

Coming back to AC it should have low power consumption and should be reliable and if possible eco-friendly . Actually I am confused between Hitachi & Voltas. Also people have recommended me, not to go for LG & Samsung. Is it true?

Kindly suggest and share your views & experience.

AFAIK Hitatchi ACs are best in term of power saving but are expensive as compared to others. Voltas (owned by TATA) is also a good option compared to others like LG

Voltas A/Cs are very good, so is their service network. They've been around for a LONG time. My A/C was bought in 1976 Still going strong

Hitachi, Voltas, Carrier, General. Go with any one of these. They offer best cooling. Look for power ratings by BIS(?). Godrej & Bluestar are also known for nice cooling solutions.
Do NOT go for LG & Samsung. Don't fall for their low prices & low power consumption claims. AFAIK their compressors suck.

I prefer Sony Cybershot for cameras because of their ease of use. Buy the one with Carl Zeiss lens. Carl Zeiss lens models are offered by most of the companies. Ensure that the camera has manual adjustments along with automatic mode. Don't buy the one which has only automatic modes.

For camera I'll suggest Sony Cyber-shot S750. It'll come for under 10k. We were planning to buy that but ultimately changed the decision in the shop and got a Sony W120 for 12.8k.
