Making your own PDA

I heard that its possible to make your own pda with pda kits available.
Several hardware linux sites have guys discussing this topic.
I came across the following link:

do you think I can obtain other parts in India and assemble my own PDA ?
I have a good electronics knowledge to start with.
Can we get such kits in SP Road ? I saw a calling bell(Rs. 50 onwards) and a ham radio building kit there...

You never know what you can stumble upon in SP road. This looks like DIY kit wherein you dont have to bother too much about hardware work. Look for the right software for this device. EZX linux may fit the bill.
