Tata's Nano, the one Lakh car.....first impression.
Well what do you people have to say about the first impression of Tata's middle class entry level one lakh car........Would it really hold that hype, price and expectations..............???

It will really make a presence in indian market.I personally loved the design.Good for local commutes.But i wish it was battery powered.Petrol is so costly.

yep battery power could have been added as well, but not removing the pertol thing. Even I loved the design. The one lakh price..... would that be the on road price.....????.

Dosent look too good to me. The shape and design is not much attractive.
The bajaj one looks better only drawback id it has the gear shaft on the dash bord  Kind of funny there

Awesome Car at a unbelievable price. Tata must be one proud man. 
On Road at around 1.28 Lakhs (Delhi)
and 1.32 (Mumbai) as per news

mmmm 1.28. too bad. The one lack should have been the on road price, THAT would have have made it a true inexpensive preposition. Very attractive.

Well today every small car is following the same design more or less, eg zen estillo, so its ok for me. have'nt seen the bajaj one, but dash board gear shaft kinda looks interesting. TATA holds the brand name so I presume it would outshine in the one lack car segment to follow in the coming months.......

1 Lakh with taxes is almost impossible to beat unless Govt gives a Subsidy

It's available in this September.Everything is good for local trip.For 600cc it should give more than 25km/l But, it's going make our traffic jams more and more

sep....that does seems far, however till then I guess the final version would also include the diesel and hopefully the LPG version. Again with 600cc the LPG version would turn out to be very economical.....

Its quite good in real. I never expected it to be well made. The finishing looks good. I'm hoping it will replace the rickshaw. At least, we will be done with the noise pollution that auto's create.
Coming to air pollution, only way to (really) tackle it will be a complete ban on petrol and diesel vehicles.
