My config is similar to you pathiks, but instead of a P4 with 2.4 GHz, I have one with 1.8 GHz though I overclocked it to 2.25 GHz. Also I have lesser RAM than yours, 1.25 GB.

How will some one rate mine ? -1 ?

3 PCs....mmmmm must be enjoying games over LAN. PC-1 5/10 and PC-2 6/10. I still consider 7950GTX card better than the 8600GTS except maybe the DX10 thing. But for me better DX9 game graphics would be more enjoyble than poor DX10.

As far as I know 845 does not have a AGP slot. I have 865GBF desktop which has 8X AGP slot. FX 5200 is a AGP card.

Edit: After googling I found some 845 motherboard comes with AGP slot. 2 of my friends had 845 without any AGP slot, one original Intel and another Mercury. So, it depends on model...

Well, the original 845 chipset from Intel does not have a AGP slot. The other brands' 845 boards included that slot after some hardwares revision.

5.5 to the Mac though the 24" DELL sounds pretty impressive....

6/10 but again with the timeframe of 2004-2005....

845 in india came without the AGP slot, with few exceptions I guess. FX 5200 AFAIK is PCIE, correct me if I am wrong though......

PS::: I checked, I guess 5200 has both variants.....PCIE and AGP

9 to me......generous...Thank you.... I'd rate you 3.5 in todays scenario but again with the time frame of 2004/2005.....5.5 is what I see.

Quite a few people are still sticking with their P4s. My last PC was also a P4 2.2 Ghz Nothwood processor. 512MB RD Ram (Notice the RD ram I had). Geforce MX440. 320GB HDD. Intel D850MV Mobo with SoundBlaster Live! 5.1 DE sound card........and this was the killer machine at the time I bought it (Q1 of 2003 for 48000 bucks...).......I wonder how would this be rated..
