hi people.i am planning to take a brodand connection in bhopal. how is BSNL.
anyone who has it???????is the speeds good?????
or if u suggest any oher pls tell.thank u.
and before any 1 says that there are other broadband offer threads. let me tell u there is only one and that to is locked and the link in there is dead. and there is no info about brodband in bhopal on this forum.i have searched.

Pls tell what r u looking for Eg. speed, budget and also tell ur usage.
Bsnl is good in Bhopal, some plan offered by BSNL are:-

if u want good speed and do not do lots of downloading or browsing(youtube etc) then u can go for HOME 250 (speed 256kbps to 2mb and download limit 1gb and no night unlimited).

or if u want to download stuff and want to surf and watch youtube videos and even download big files like movies etc then u can go foe HOME 500 (speed 256kbps to 2mb and download limit 2.5gb and night unlimited from 2am to 8am).
or
if u want to download every file u can find in the internet or want to stick to the net 24x7 then u can go for HOME 900 UL, IT IS AN UNLIMITED PLAN
so u can use it how much u want(speed 256kbps and no download limit).

so make ur choice,

P.s.
Airtel also offers UnLimited plan for 999(256kbps) and there new 1499 plan(512kbps).

Speed 500 plan main achhi hai abt 1mb+ for connection speed and abt 200-250kbps download speed from good sites eg microsoft etc.
connection kabhi kabhi apne aap band ho jata hai , tab modem ko 2min k leya band kar k on karna hota hai....
kuch log ko billing main prob aae thee, it is mainly due to there lack of knowledge that while brousing youtube or any similar site, the video is loaded and counts under ur download which is 2.5gb in plan 500.

i never had this problem, coz i regularly check my download...

i go 2 sleep pretty late
and just installed a shutdown software, and schedule it to shutdown pc at 7:50am.
by the way u got ur connection?
which one and how is the speed?

i got home 500 and they billed me even for the night hours(see my other post).
well the speed i got were around 125kbps that means around 1mbps.
