Crack is a software program which is used by to 'patch' original software/game. After 'patching', even non-licensed users get to use the software. There are different ways of doing it depending on the type of security used.

Keygen is a software program which generates multiple products keys for software. These usually come for a particular software or group of software.

Activation: Product activation is technique used by hardware/software manufacturers to recognize/authenticate original software.

(There's nothing wrong in telling what the terms mean. Just keep piracy, where to get what, #$@#@ game asks to insert original CD, and all those away)

How can we stop piracy if we dun even know its defenition? And how wud one be aware of the problems of piracy

I know many people who dun even know what original nd pirated s/w are nd they keep on using pirated s/w. They think it is like that.
Knowing aout piracy dun mean that he does piracy. [It wud be like...OBEY THE TRAFFIC RULES ND WHAT IF THERE IS NO PLACE TO TEACH IT? Everybody wud violate it].

I think no need to closeda thread.

Most of da guys in dis forum....say
"NO NO NO" whenever they say the words 'piracy' and that dun bother to see the context[if its for gud or bad].

Why shud 1 stop nythin whichs nut started by him?
