airtel live charges

today i called 121 and requested for charges of airtel live

she told 15 paise / 10 kB !!!

is this true ?? i can't believe this.. its cheaper then BSNL !!!
this price is for browsing other 3rd party sites.. and 3rd party downloads
like google yahoo digit forum etc

and also for Airtel Office the charges are 5 Rs Per day unlimited browsing !

Airtel Live is a FREE service from Airtel which lets you access google and Airtel's Site.

NOP or Net on Phone is a service which works via Airtel's proxy and lets you browse only on your phone ( You _can_ connect it to your computer, but not ALL sites show up correctly )

Airtel's Mobile Office is a service which lets you access internet on both the phone and the PC. No proxy is involved in this.

The rates differ from circle to circle.

Airtel NOP is Rs 2 / day on prepaid in Mumbai
Airtel MO is Rs 15 / day on prepaid in Mumbai ( was 7/day )
Airtel Live is FREE and is activated by default

i dunno about mobile office

but airtel office... is 5 Rs per day.. in Bangalore ..!! for unlimited browsing

1. My College mate darshan uses Airtel office and he told me its 5 Rs Per day
2. 2 Airtel Customer Care Executives told me that its 5 rs Per day


i have Airtel College Plan and even my friend darshan has the same
may be only College plans have 5 Rs per day for airtel office.. and there are 5 different types of college plan

the one that i have is 355 Rs College plan

details

10 paise for 1 Local SMS and 1 Rs for National SMS

validity of 3 months !
Talktime of 150 Rs !!

and call rates are all 1 Rs each.. and 2 rs for landlines



and i know airtel live is free.. to browse only airtel sites

to browse digitfourm u will be charged 15 paise / 10kb.. that's what i was told by those call center guys !

i have activated Airtel NOP in my N73 and i am surfing for free for about 4 months when i activated it they charged 100 RS for 2 months but now its free and i download so many softwares for my mobile under 3 mb

airtel live was not activated by default... i had to send an sms to get it done..!!

also i can't afford 5 rs per day..!! for Airtel Office
so i am interested only in 15 paise / kB
because i rarely use it on cell phone.. since its charges are real high...!!

i just wanted to activate the account and leave it.. so that i could use in case when i am far away from a computer and desperate to read my messages.. lol !

and don't forget to ask airtel live charges for 3 rd party websites and content
its either 10 paise per kb or 15 paise per 10 kb !! hopefully not 15 paise per KB...!!

MMS is 5 Rs

it should have been 3 Rs... as i do send MMS... its fun !

There are no charges for browsing airtel live portal. But if you want to view other sites than those available in airtel live portal, you are charged 15p/10kb. You can view yahoo's wap site for free from inside airtel live.
Vodafone(earlier hutch) charges 10p/10kb for the same
