oh, I missed out saying that the system runs a nlited version of XP with the explorer shell replaced

most of the info was obtained from mp3car.com
most of the parts were sourced locally in Chennai while the LCD was sourced from iride.in and the power supply unit was picked by me in the US

The system runs in my Opel Corsa and though I don't recollect the exact cost (I had completed this setup in May), it was somewhere between 22-25K
