I've coded a software which hides text into pictures and protects it with a password. The software is "Concealar". Well, you must be thinking, so what?, we know a lot many ways to do that. The difference is -- You can't get an easier way of doing things...Coming onto technical details, it uses highly advanced cryptographic & steganographic algorithms...well only cryptographic...coz the steganographic module was written by me, and yes it don't work on the principle of hiding data in the least significant bits...its principle is different. In its cryptographic module, AES (Rijndael algo.) is used which is adopted as an encyption standard by the U.S government. The key size used by U.S govt. is 128 bits whereas the encyption key used in this software is of 256 bits... So, you can say that your data would even be safer than the U.S top-secret documents You can read more about it on: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Securit...oncealar.shtml But I want you ppl to check out this software & give your reviews/ suggestions... Thanx everyone. Even my friends & teachers told me to patent this algorithm, but i don't have the slightest idea how to go about it. I'm sure working on more programs, but those who know how students use their comps will understand in what mess their systems really are, so it'll take time...

That's why i never took it seriously. I'm just contented that ppl are using the software and its helping them in some way & that's the biggest reward. I replied to the above posts about that patent thing...That's all.

Well bro...I'm still unemployed
Got an idea friends, why don't we post encrypted images right here on this thread. This way we can get some really cool wallpapers by our fellow digitans as well as some fundoo messages... http://cid-bf86c4558177e0f5.skydrive...c/Garfield.jpg Password: first

If you do t want patent it best way is to make it open source and let the others see/contribute to your project.
congrats and best of luck for you future. Jai hind

Dude, it already is a Freeware. Furthermore, any suggestions are welcome for the betterment of it. But if you're talking about posting the code, then forget about it

I was just sitting lazily when these bizarre ideas stuck my mind. Apart from the normal uses, the software can also be used in the following scenarios
1) You can encrypt the letter that someone special sent you into a romantic wallpaper & then set it on ur desktop. Apart from the security, whenever you'll look at the wallpaper you'll get a nice feeling that that wallpaper holds some words for you. 2) Do you totally hate ur boss? Well, here's a chance to hit him/her with the choicest words you ever thought of. Just write whatever you wanna say to ur boss (!$#@%$^%*), encrypt it within Best Wishes image & zip it to ur boss. He/She will be delighted to see how much you care while you'll have the satisfaction that you finally said whatever you wanted to say Got any more strange ideas like this....share it here
