Search before u post? DUH!

hi guys,

well im really getting irritated with the search thing here! few days back i just read an article about "Computer Desk and Chair" here on digit under QnA section... i found it interesting and decided to buy a chair with the specifications mentioned in the thread... i dint bookmark the thread then and i tried searching it.. but when i tried searching it today the search result returned 1000 odd results with no sight of my desired thread...

i had to manually go through all the pages and find it...

Help needed choosing Healthy Computer desk and chair..

can someone please tell me how to search efficiently incase im not searching it the right way?

Best is to search thru google:

G-search is 1000000000000 times better than digit one. IMO

lol when i searched for "Computer Desk and Chair" now, its showing my thread... still no sign of "http://www.thinkdigit.com/forum/showthread.php?t=66334" in the search!!

Experiment with the quoted queries and you'll get the right results.

^^ i've expirimented with just about all the terms! search was of NO use for me!! google helped though!

Don't know about the thread you wanted,but this thread is certainly topping the search results for "Computer Desk and Chair" now!!

I was talking about Google. Of course forum search algorithms suck, unless they've made changes to it.

You ought to upload it on to the Avatar field and not the Profile Picture field. By the way is it a dragon? Cause I can see your 'Profile Picture' in your Profile. But avatars are shown in posts, rather.
