Help me out , little bit about India laws ..

Im a foreign student , stay and study in Bangalore for the past 2 years . I've purchased a pulsa bike under my name . Since i've graduated from study , can i bring the bike along with me back to my country ? Is it possible ?

Can you give my some ideas about the necessary procedure like tax or documents ?

It depends on your country! (would be helpful if you mention which!)

India charges 70-90% Tax on new Imported Vehicles, and more than 100% (120%? not that sure) Tax on Used Imported Vehicles.

As I said, it depends on countries. Just check with the Local Custom officers, etc.

Thnx for reply me so fast . My country is Vietnam , i've checked the term and requirement from my side . Not so bad , i guess since i take it back to use , not to re-sell . Tax and some form need to fill up along with necessary document for the bike .

But i need to know from both side right ?

* How to export it from India (via sea, i guess) . What i have to prepare and pay if necessary .

* and How to import it on my country (this issue i'll get a lawyer ) .
