DOWN WITH PLAGIARISM ! Need Your Help.

You seen my post on A Direct Copy-Paste.

Inspite of advice to the contrary by 3 out of 4 of my well wishers, I have gone ahead and put a writeup up on my sites home page, about plagiarism of WinVistaClubs content. In fact I was told to let go... but I am one who is dictated to, by my heart ... sometimes; and I just couldn't resist posting the copy-paste incident there, if not for anything else, then atleast to bring it to the attention of all !

The issue is actually bigger: and its called Plagiarism; and it will affect us all some time or the other! Again, this is not a new story actually ! In fact 'No Big Deal' for most ! But its just that its WinVistaClub's turn to suffer from it now.

Now I know it wont change anything, but atleast I will have done my part in bringing out a general wrong out in the open!

What will I achieve ??? Dont know ... but I/we will atleast have the satisfaction of having done something to bring out a wrong.

Internet is a Bad Place man, There is nothing you can quite do about it

You can try contacting the Admin of the site which is Plagiarizing your Articles and ask him to give you proper attribution, Other than that there is nothing that can actually be done.

Many Sites, even Yahoo had Plagiarized.

It's good that you're not letting it go. Plagiarism is a major threat to people who actually create original content, putting a lot of time and effort into what they create.

i also sent a letter to adsense-abuse@google.com stating that he was earning adsense revenue from content copied from my site.

see at the end of the day, it dznt matter if it all helps, imo. what gives me more satisfaction is that i tried my best at making a noise. see if he is on stumbleupon and leave a coment at his site/postings. i did that too ! i also left comments at his diggit posts about his copypasting. u can try that too. i had written a email to this website which i got from whois, but it bounced as delivery failed...

You have a copyright notice on your site. But do you have any legal document protecting your content? Have a look at these links for a license.

Plagiarism is a disease. Send the guys some e-flowers (a-la Munnabhai ) and hope that they get well soon.

But in any case, the content on the web is pretty open to all. Expect it to get copied. If there is some really sensitive copy-righted material that harms you financially if it gets copied, don't put it on web! I know it's unfair, but that is how the web-works. You are sharing the information with the world. Some will re-use that info legitimately, some illegitimately.

Anyway, you have reported to Adsense abuse. Please keep us posted about the output.

Leaving a remark on that blog who copied from mine worked too. The copied content is now gone!!
